I took a two day staging course last fall before I heard about HSR. Once I found HSR I was intrigued, but wanted to make sure I was taking the right course for me. I noticed the HSR Certification logo on many different home staging business websites I came across. I also looked into other courses (some costing twice or three times as much, none lasting longer than three days). I'm sure those courses are probably good enough for some, but I didn't see the real value like I saw with Audra's course. Three weeks of training WITH design modules? When can I use the CCE logos on my website and marketing materials?
We have a variety of cool CCE logos for you to be able to use in your own marketing once you’ve gone through all the modules and completed a test at the end of Module 5 which insures you are confident about your newfound color knowledge. Does this course go over exterior paint colors, as well as interior colors?
Yes and no. Our emphasis is on interior color with respect to furnishings, fixtures and paint so we don’t limit it to just paint. You can use the same principles for specifying exterior paint colors but the course is for interiors.

Are the HSR Templates you offer in the DesignFiles copyright or free for us to use as we wish?
- The HSR Template Projects are NEVER to be given in their entirety for free to anyone in order to prevent widespread distribution. You may however share the BOARD IMAGES ONLY (NOT LINKS OR PRESENTATION) to clients and in your materials as an "example" of what they will receive.
- The HSR Templates are primarily to be used as "starting points" for your projects. You've just saved 4 hours of work, by starting with a beautiful board, so now swap out some products and go from there.
- Never give an HSR Template project away for free. If we see that you are doing that, your HSR Templates will be revoked.
Can I use an iPad to go through the training and build boards?
Yes, for the training but the DesignFiles board technology can be more difficult on an iPad and is more ideal/efficient on a computer. It still works but will take you more time.

We have a variety of cool Edesign logos for you to be able to use in your own marketing once you’ve gone through all the modules and completed a simple quiz at the end of Module 3 which insures you are confident about your newfound e-design knowledge. You will also want to include the initials EE after your name as an additional designation you've gone through.
Do I get a Certificate of Completion?
Yes! At the end of the course, you take a short quiz for your Certified Expert E-Designer Certificate. You also get the benefit of our logos and being a part of the largest group of E-Designers collectively!
I'm not in the United States, will this training and the boards be relevant to me?
Yes and no. Yes, in the the training is universal and the easy copy and paste forms, emails, images for you to use instantly will be a HUGE time saver.W
In terms of the DesignFiles boards...while the products sourced in the boards were all online product, some of the vendors do ship internationally while some do not. The whole point to the boards is that you are getting a starting point to work from and a HUGE inspiration platform. Simply swap out the products that are not a fit, change the images, do whatever you like to make them your own.

How soon can I get my website?
Right after you purchase the Premium Website, you get a link to a private, training area where you can fill out a simple form (website address, name, company, locations and style) to order your website. Usually within a week our web folks will ask you to make a simple change to your domain to point the domain to the host account we provide to you, and your website goes up (we walk you through ordering your domain in Week 1 of the training).
What is the renewal cost of membership and website hosting after a year?
The website is always yours to keep and move to another host company before your year is up BUT no other host company will help and support your business like HSR! To continue your membership, training access, directory listing and another year of website hosting/support, the cost is only $350.

No but it's in your best interest to make changes to the text of your site, so that Google won't think you're plagiarizing another site and to look different from others.
What happens if I make a mistake on my website?

Do you have a Staging Mentor in my area?
We have so many wonderful, experienced, successful Staging Mentors across North America that we've stopped listing them! As part of our process, once you have completed your RESA Accredited Training we allow you to pick someone if you have a preference...otherwise we match you up with a local Staging Mentor who has a good project coming up.
Can I have a job shadow day without going through a RESA Accredited Training?
No. There is so much to know in this industry that having a firm, education foundation in staging "know-how", pricing, services, contracts, forms, marketing, etc... is critical prior to your job shadow day.
How long is my hands-on training?
You are paying for a day of job shadowing with a successful home stager near you. This is your opportunity to see how it's done. To create the correct expectation, ask your mentor when they first call you about setting up the day what you should expect, etc...
In some cases where the Trainee does a fabulous job rolling up their sleeves, the Mentor will invite them back for more days of learning.
What can I expect from this experience? What's the process...
First off, the Staging Mentor nearest you will call you and discuss the upcoming project and set a date for the hands-on, job shadow day. This is a good time to ask questions and get details about the type of job, what you can expect, what you should wear and bring, etc... Plan to dress professional, yet comfortable. Plan to roll up your sleeves and work with the Mentor (watching and learning) while also helping. The expectation is that you are there as an "assistant" to learn and get confidence from the experience.
What if I decide that I don't need a Staging Mentor after going through the RESA Accredited Training...can I get my money back?
